Gamification & Points

How do I earn my first points?

The easiest way to start earning points is to submit your first idea! You'll receive points immediately upon submission, with bonus points when your idea progresses through evaluation stages.

What happens if my idea gets rejected?

You still keep the points earned for submitting the idea. Rejection is part of innovation - learn from feedback and submit improved ideas to build your points over time.

Can I lose points?

No, points are never deducted. However, some point-earning actions have daily, weekly, or monthly limits to encourage quality over quantity.

How often are leaderboards updated?

Leaderboards update in real-time as points are awarded. You can view monthly, quarterly, and all-time rankings to track your progress.

What are achievements and how do I unlock them?

Achievements are special badges earned by reaching specific milestones (e.g., "First Idea", "10 Ideas Submitted"). They recognize your innovation journey and grant bonus points.

Why are some actions showing "N/A" or disabled?

Administrators can temporarily disable certain point-earning actions. Disabled actions will not award points until they are re-enabled. Check the Points Matrix regularly for the latest configuration.

Ideas & Submissions

How do I submit an idea?

Navigate to "Submit Idea" in the main menu, fill in the required fields including title, description, category, and business impact, then click Submit. You can optionally attach supporting documents.

Can I edit my idea after submission?

Yes, you can edit your idea as long as it hasn't been approved for implementation. Once in implementation stage, only administrators can make changes.

What makes a good idea submission?

A good idea clearly defines the problem, proposes a specific solution, explains the business impact, and includes any relevant supporting documentation or data.

How long does the evaluation process take?

Evaluation timelines vary based on complexity and current workload. Typically, you'll receive initial feedback within 5-7 business days. You can track progress in your dashboard.

Can I withdraw my idea?

Yes, you can withdraw your idea at any time before it reaches implementation stage. Navigate to your idea details and click the "Withdraw" button.

Collaboration

How do I comment on an idea?

Open any idea detail page and scroll to the comments section. Type your comment and click "Post Comment". Remember to keep comments constructive and professional.

Can I see who liked my idea?

You can see the total number of likes on your idea. Individual names of users who liked are visible to administrators for analytics purposes.

How do collaboration teams work?

Collaboration teams allow multiple users to work together on refining ideas. Team leaders can invite members, assign tasks, and coordinate development of promising innovations.

Evaluation

Who evaluates submitted ideas?

Ideas are evaluated by designated evaluators based on their expertise and department. Evaluators are automatically assigned based on idea category and workload balancing.

What criteria are used for evaluation?

Evaluation criteria are dynamically configured by administrators and may include innovation level, feasibility, business impact, cost-benefit analysis, and alignment with strategic goals.

Can I see my idea's evaluation scores?

Yes, once evaluation is complete, you can view detailed scores and feedback from evaluators in your idea's detail page.

Account & Profile

How do I update my profile?

Navigate to your profile page using the user menu in the top right corner. You can update your information, view your points history, and see your achievements.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link if your email is registered in the system.

Can I change my department?

Department information is managed by administrators to ensure accurate reporting and assignment. Contact your system administrator if your department assignment needs updating.

Technical Issues

The portal is loading slowly. What should I do?

First, try refreshing the page. If slowness persists, check your internet connection. Clear your browser cache or try a different browser. If issues continue, contact IT support.

I'm getting an error when submitting my idea. Help!

Ensure all required fields are filled in correctly. If the error persists, try saving your idea content elsewhere, logging out and back in, then resubmitting. Contact IT support if the issue continues.

Why can't I see certain admin features?

Admin features are only visible to users with administrator or manager roles. If you believe you should have access, contact your system administrator.
